Position Description: SCHEELS is currently seeking a Full-Time Videographer for our Fargo, ND Corporate Office. This individual will join our team of experienced marketing associates in filming and editing footage for Scheels TV content and other video materials; performing general administration duties with Scheels TV; assisting with TV shoots when necessary; and helping with other internal & external campaigns relating to video. Responsibilities Include: Assist the Creative Media Team as follows: Organizing and preparing daily routine & tasks; Video filming/editing, assisting with TV shoots; and maintain a clean and safe work environment Assist with video shooting/editing of How-To's, Scheels events, and other miscellaneous video projects Accurately and efficiently run and maintain Video Equipment, Mac Computers, Final Cut Pro, and all other equipment used on a daily basis Ensure the Scheels brand style guide is upheld in media content Assist with all other aspects of creative media Requirements: Knowledge of camera operation (DSLR & Full body cameras), lighting, & Adobe Creative Suite (PhotoShop, Illustrator, etc.) Proficient in Mac computers, video editing platform Final Cut Pro, & other video related equipment Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word Ability to storyboard and develop creative concepts; as well as troubleshoot camera equipment, video/audio equipment, computer software, and other technical aspects Ability to be organized, multi-task, and maintain all aspects of creative media Strong initiative and vision for continuous improvement Ability to work independently and with the team Embrace project visions and respond with urgency to address project needs Exercise judgment and tact and be able to effectively work with all levels within the organization while working on projects Strong oral / written communication and presentation skills to communicate effectively and in a timely manner with all levels of the organization Able to lift or move up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds Must possess a valid driver's license Education and
Experience: Ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelors degree in Communications, Broadcast Journalism, or a related field 2 years of digital media experience preferred Schedule: Must be flexible to work between 7a.m. and 7p.m., (Monday through Friday) with some weekend hours and travel (3-4 weeks a year which could fluctuate) as needed. Average hours per week are between 40 and 45 hours.
