Headquarted in Fargo ND Ameristar Meats is searching for a meat packer to work with our custom cut and propietary cutting team. This position will work Monday - Friday day shift.
Ameristar is a leading provider of fine meat products and we offer customers innovative programs for emerging dining trends. Ameristar Meats produces quality brands like Cattle Company Angus, Misty Isle Farms, Blue Mesa Natural Angus and Blackstone 1890.
Responsibilities
Fold boxes for the days production
Will include and involve lifting parts of equipment
Help with Packaging, Weighing and labeling cartons of boxed and processed meats
Stacking product on pallets & or metal racks
Transporting of product to pallets to freezer/warehouse
Lifting 10 lbs. ranging to 60 lb. boxes
Bending to process the packaging of product, Minimal
Basic Meat Cutting
Qualifications
Ability to pass a Hair Follicle drug test and background investigation.
Possess basic meat cutting skills. Will train the right candidate.
Ability to use a Pallet jack.
Great attention to detail
Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
Must be able to handle physical excursion.
Able to work in damp conditions. Wear a hoodie.
Willing to observe all company policies and standards.
Follow safety guidelines of the company.
Proven ability to Work as a team player with the best crew in town.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
