SCHEELS is currently seeking a Full-Time Web Graphic Artist for our Fargo, ND Corporate Office. This individual will join our team of experienced marketing associates in developing superior web design with outstanding user experience, along with concept design and photo editing and collaboration with other graphic projects. Must be flexible to work between 7a.m. and 7p.m., Monday through Friday, with some weekends as needed. Average hours per week are between 40 and 45 hours. Responsibilities Include: Create designs, graphics and visual concepts for SCHEELS website, email campaigns and additional assets Photo editing along with a large variety of web graphic related projects Ensure the SCHEELS brand style guide is upheld in all areas Actively participate in the weekly team meetings Confer with leadership to resolve graphic based problems or questions Execute project work plans to complete the task on time, and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements Meet all assigned goals and assist others in accomplishing their goals Contribute to a work environment that fosters pride in being part of a winning team and promotes personal growth Assist with all other aspects of graphic planning and design Requirements: Knowledge of web graphic design, usability, conversion, web standards, and current design trends and technologies Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite 5 with an emphasis in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word Ability to be organized, multi-task, and maintain all aspects of graphic projects Strong initiative and vision for continuous improvement Ability to work independently and with the team Embrace project visions and respond with urgency to address graphic project needs Exercise judgment and tact and be able to effectively work with all levels within the organization while working on projects Strong oral / written communication and presentation skills to communicate effectively and in a timely manner with all levels of the organization Able to lift or move up to 20 lbs. Experience: Ideal candidate will have a minimum of an AAS or BFA degree in Graphic Design, or a related field 1-3 years web graphic design experience preferred SEO experience a plus Image optimization experience a plus Email design and list management experience a plus
