85 per hour Paraeducator II Position Purpose:
A Paraeducator II provides instructional support and delivers other direct services to students under the direction of a certified teacher or other licensed employee.
This classification is generally assigned to work with students having significantly disabling conditions, including cognitive, behavioral and/or significant medical impairments.
Responsibilities 1.
Instructional Support:
to provide instructional support to students under the direction of a certified teacher or other licensed employee.
This includes teaching and learning based support, as well as instructional support in relation to student social, emotional, and behavioral development.

75% Examples of this work include:
Assists teacher in routine classroom operation, including modeling activities for students in the regular education classroom.
Assists in the collection of teacher requests, comments and test information.
Assists students, individually or in small groups, with lesson assignments for the purpose of practicing and/or reinforcing learning concepts and assisting students in reaching academic goals and grade level standards.
Maintains classroom supplies and materials, work area, and manual and electronic files and records for the purpose of ensuring availability of items, providing written reference, providing a safe and sanitary learning environment, and/or meeting mandated requirements.
Observes, monitors and records student performance and behavior; assists in assessing a student's learning needs based on their performance in individual or group tutoring sessions; implementing plans for instruction; making recommendations for improved care and instruction.
Assists in managing and improving appropriate behavior of students, including crisis intervention, for the purpose of supporting, implementing, and reinforcing student learning.

Physical Support for Students:
to provide physical care for students for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns and/or directing to appropriate personnel for resolution, includes providing self-care to students who are medically fragile.

15% Examples of this work include:
Administers first aid, as instructed by a health care professional for the purpose of meeting immediate health care needs.
Responds to emergency situations including but not limited to an injured student, fights, or school drills.
Assists students with hygiene tasks (feeding, toileting, dressing, etc.
) as necessary; provides multiple and diverse special health care needs for assigned students.
Loads/unloads wheelchair bound students on bus, and/or waits with students for transportation.

10% Examples of this work include:
Performs routine clerical duties and maintain records, copies and files paperwork.
General student supervision as needed.
This includes but is not limited to locations indoors and outdoors, such as lunchroom, bus stops, playground, classroom, field trips, public transportation, assemblies, and kitchen.
Attends conferences and workshops toward present and future career development.
Participates in general staff meetings.
Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Ability to communicate with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians Experience working or volunteering in a school setting Experience working with individualized education plans (IEPs) Preferred Qualifications Associates degree in Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a similar field Experience working as direct support professional, personal care aid, CNA, or similar position Additional education and/or experience may be required for specific aide positions.
Some positions are supported by Title I funds and require additional levels of education or certification.
If hired for a Title I position, Title I Paraprofessional Certification will be required prior to hire or work with students.
If no qualified applicants are found, we will consider filling as a Paraeducator I.
Minimum qualification require a High School Diploma or GED, ability to communicate with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians, and basic academic and computer skills.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
