84/hr +$3/hr Weekend Shift Premium SUMMARY The primary function of this position is to coordinate the workflow within the Packaging and Manufacturing department.
Prepare work schedules, assign work and oversee the daily work in progress.
Provide training to employees and ensure proper quality control productivity levels are maintained throughout the department.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Ability to help ensure a high level of productivity is maintained throughout the department.
It is critical to be able to lead and direct personnel on a day-to-day basis.
Assist supervisor in assuring that orders are processed throughout the department accurately.
Responsible for ensuring associates are accurately checking bulk, bottles, caps, labels, cotton and desiccants to process work orders.
Ensure that each bottle produced is properly marked with its correct label, lot numbers, and manufactured date.
Responsible for helping the supervisor ensure the accuracy of every order leaving the manufacturing area.
Responsible for accurately and safely setting up operating the automated equipment.
Responsible for helping to ensure safe operating procedures are followed as stated in the company's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) manual.
Responsible for training and cross training of employees.
Assist supervisor is setting up and overseeing all training procedures to ensure proper operation of equipment.
Ensure quality control (QC) and cGMP and NSF procedures are followed.
Attend QC training yearly and help implement new policies.
Ensure proper fill volume is maintained according to company standards.
All orders must be filled as to meet the appropriate volume.
Participate as an active member of the Sanitation Team.
Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
Conducts self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of SHP COMPETENCIES REQUIRED Good communication skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Demonstrate ability to build and motivate a team Demonstrate a friendly training style Show a positive attitude Previous leadership experience preferred Computer and mechanical background preferred EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Or; an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties of the job as listed above.
