We are currently seeking a talented Bank Regulatory Compliance Associate to join our team in Fargo, ND ! In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with financial institutions of varying sizes and assist them with regulatory compliance consulting to ensure they will have a positive outcome on their next regulatory compliance exam. You will also assist banks who have had a negative exam by outlining corrective action that can be taken to help their next exam go more successfully.

Bank Regulatory Compliance Associates are responsible for consulting with clients in the banking industry to ensure processes and operations meet required regulations.
Specific responsibilities include:
Effectively working and communicating with clients in the banking industry to ensure compliance, processes and operations meet required regulations.
Conducting consultative collaboration sessions and/or discussions with key leaders within the client company in order to respond to regulatory examination issues, correcting compliance deficiencies, and reviewing internal compliance processes and controls.
Preparing and assistings client companies with compliance testing and training on bank regulatory issues.
Understanding and keeping current with banking compliance regulations trends or issues, in order to recommend and/or develop processes and procedures to implement changes to better serve the client.
In the Bank Regulatory Compliance Associate role, you will need excellent communication skills as well as the ability to effectively interact with all levels of Firm
management
and staff, clients and other external business contacts.
Specific requirements include:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred
2-3 years of experience in banking with emphasis on compliance and bank regulations OR experience working with the Federal Reserve, FDIC, OCC, or state banking regulatory agencies.
Knowledge of bank compliance regulations.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and clients.
Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and related programs.
This opportunity requires frequent travel (up to 80%). You will need some form of transportation to get to your client office locations.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
