The ideal candidate for this position is a self-driven individual with attention to detail. Responsible for inspecting incoming raw materials and contacting suppliers as necessary to determine root-cause of problems and prevent additional failures. Complete related records, reports, and paperwork. Perform sample inspections according to engineering drawings and specifications Utilize common measurement tools, including coordinate measuring machine (CMM) Document inspection results by completing paperwork and database entries Reject and disposition unacceptable materials; coordinate with suppliers as necessary Periodically review inspection results and provide summary reportsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
