Summary: The Staff Consultant - Development works within the Business Applications team. The Staff Consultant will utilize best practices and methodologies to design, customize, integrate, implement and/or upgrade customizations and solutions for clients. Solution knowledge and expertise include Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Dynamics GP, as well as other platform tools in use by our clients. Working as part of team, this position will be expected to accomplish a range of development duties from basic requirements definition, design/configuration to custom development/plugins, unit testing, quality assurance and client support.
Essential Functions:
Learn, utilize, and promote the Arctic IT's Development Best Practices and Methodology.
Work with team members and independently to develop and configure Microsoft Dynamics solutions and key third party products. This work would include: building custom entities, development of various components (plug-ins, JavaScript, workflow), security configuration, and report writing.
Design custom data structures as required for the application.
Contribute to current Arctic IT solutions and customizations to build products to resell to future clients.
Utilize Microsoft Visual Studio to develop and maintain source code and track outstanding items following the AIT development process. Manage solutions built by the team by merging changes to master source repositories.
Build integrations to perform data conversion from external systems.
Create application integrations as required to support application workflows.
Complete project documentation such as: Functional Customization Specifications, Solution Design Documents, and User Acceptance Test Scripts.
Participates in client meetings to gather business requirements and work with Senior Consultants to design solutions that meet the requirements.
Adhere to and implement all aspects of standard software development life cycle (SDLC) tasks including requirements analysis, design, coding, and testing.
Perform or assist system performance enhancement activities as needed.
Support Senior Consultants with various duties.
Obtain and maintain Dynamics as well as other applicable Microsoft certifications.

Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline i.e. Math, Information Technology.
Technical experience with:
Microsoft Dynamics CRM or equivalent object model
JavaScript/Fetch XML
MS SQL including scripting
Plug-in development
Skill in planning, organizing, and managing time across multiple tasks.
Skill in understanding customer ERP needs and providing quality customer service.
Ability to constructively participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
Ability to follow project plans and requirements.
Ability to develop within an application development process model creating supporting documentation for work products created.
Ability to work in fast paced environment.
Valid driver's license and insurance.
Applicants subject to government security investigations and must meet eligibility requirements related to the clearance process.
Preferred:
2
years of Dynamics CRM or equivalent development experience with a solid understanding of CRM entity and Object Model. Prefer Dynamics CRM 2011 or 2013.
Experience upgrading solutions for previous versions to newer releases.
Experience with Dynamics CRM On-line and/or hosted application development.
Development in a virtualized and distributed environment supporting corporate web application systems.
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio including Team Foundation Server or equivalent source control system.
Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics GP and building customizations.
Skills in Microsoft SQL server, including SSRS and SSIS a strong plus.
Certifications in Dynamics CRM.
Consulting experience.
Skills in analyzing and transforming data in Excel. Technical exposure with:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
