Concrete Products Foreman
Our company is GROWING and we are looking to add members to our production team. We are looking for a Concrete Products Foreman to assist with the completion of concrete finishing projects. Concrete, the ability to pour flat work and ShotCrete experience are required. Travel in ND & MN.
Key duties/
Responsibilities:
o Perform duties involving high end concrete cutting, concrete flat work, basement re-pours, ShotCrete, egress windows and some waterproofing.
o Assign tasks to installers; motivate and train installers on handling of materials and tools along with product installation; ensure company policies and safety guidelines are followed; track hours of install crew; and move job progress to completion at a pace to ensure efficiency and quality.
o Communicate with customers throughout the job to aid in understanding and satisfaction. Ensure customer is aware of any changes to job before making such change.
o Assess conditions on the job, plan time allotment, tools needed and order of work. Adjust for conditions, troubleshoot situations, innovate processes on the spot in order to complete job to meet company standards and timetables.
o Read and interpret plans, instructions, and specifications to determine work activities.
o Operate all tools and equipment required to do each job. Care for these tools and equipment in order to ensure long lasting use.
o Ensure proper clean-up of all work areas after each job is complete.
Qualifications:
o Knowledge of concrete required; Minimum three (3) years experience in construction trades preferred.
o Skill in operating equipment and power tools preferred.
o Ability to see the big picture, i.e. the total job and break it into steps.
o Possess talent and personal traits: Tactical Planning, Problem Solving, Work Organization, Attention to Detail, Troubleshoot, Initiative, and Integrity.
o High school diploma or GED required.
o Must be able to lift 75lbs
o Valid driver's license is required; Class A driver's license preferred.
o A pre-employment drug screen and background check are required.
