Applied Engineering, Inc. has an opening for Technology Sales Consultant based in our Fargo, ND office. We are seeking a motivated and energetic individual who will be responsible for selling and marketing engineering and manufacturing software solutions along with training and professional services in ND and the surrounding region. As a Technology Sales Consultant, you will pursue and establish contact with prospective customers, develop new accounts, call on executives and department managers, manage assigned accounts within a named territory, and deliver compelling sales presentations. Related position titles: Account Executive, Account Representative, Business Development Consultant.

Job Duties:
Drive business results by meeting/exceeding annual and multi-year targets and maximizing individual sales opportunities
Ability to create effective proposals that link our software solutions to the customer business
Develop relationships with key executives; build, maintain, and grow pipeline within accounts to drive business results
Provide timely, accurate and detailed sales forecasts; effectively leverage chosen sales processes, tools and methodologies
Make sales contacts, research customer needs, and determine market strategies and goals for each product and service
Develop and deliver sales presentations and close sales in a professional and effective manner
Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelors Degree, preferably in an Engineering or Business-related field preferred

years of experience in a Sales/Account Management role and proven sales ability required
Outside sales experience in the areas of technical products, software sales, or professional services required
Outside sales experience in the areas of CAD/CAM software or professional services to manufacturing/engineering companies preferred
Marketing and market planning knowledge
Excellent oral and written communication skills, well developed presentation skills, professional composure, and excellent customer relations skills
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks
Computer literacy including e-mail, Internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications
Experience with using a CRM system (Maximizer, SalesForce, etc.)
Ability to travel in assigned territory to achieve sales goals

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
