Our ideal Quantitative Analyst will possess a strong working knowledge of a variety of statistical methodologies and have 1-3 years of work related experience using SAS, SPSS, R, C or other statistical analytical software. We would like this individual to apply the statistical methodologies to help the business line understand compliance and performance in the different areas within its scope. The successful candidate would be expected to communicate results concisely to a broad audience, including senior management. We are looking for candidates with the proven ability to work and thrive in a rapid-paced, team-oriented environment; who have project management skills; and who have the drive to meet continually new challenges.
The selected Analyst will have an opportunity to work on a variety of reports with regards to Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Credit Card Underwriting Risk Assessments, and reviewing resource allocations, among many others. The selected individual will also create reporting and test files as the business needs arise. The role and responsibilities may vary as the role grows.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or other quantitative field
Three to five years of experience in operations/technology project management activities
Preferred Skills/Experience
Experience with SAS, SPSS, R or other statistical programming application
Proficiency in a querying language, such as SQL
Strong analytical and forecasting skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
Ability to work as part of a project team
Excellent verbal and written presentation and communication skills
Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
Ability to conduct an analysis of a business need and confer with business line leaders

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
