Bidis for one unit ofa professional Tascam 112 or commonly referred to asthe Tascam 112mk1. Theseall came from a professional FM radio station to us, numbered; viewphotos and let me know what one you want shipped. All Decks have just had installed new capstan belt, the control belt, anda pair (2 pieces) of the correct idler tires. Topquality belts and rollers installed. Units have been properlylubricated and also new VU fuse(led) lamps with 3M diffusers. The FM station had each deck numbered on the faceplate(stickers, numbers should be easily removable) and I also held acorresponding number on each top for photos. All units were justprofessionally serviced to provide another 30 years of reliability. Youwill not find a better deal on a Tascam 112mkI that has justbeen serviced and ready to go. I have four of these, so I am sellingthem well below normal market-price. Plus it's kinda cool tohave a professional unit that performed at a light-rock FM radiostation, blasting out the hits and the morning show! Thephotos are a large part of the description! view them to see anyscratches etc.. All deck cases were wiped off with a damp, any further cosmetic cleaning left up to the buyer. This model is often thepreferred model for the audiophiles. The 112 has separate servos thatcompletely remove the head out of the tape path (on fast-forward andrewind); so you never get that 'squirrely' sound or head wear.The Tascam 112 alsohas a servo take-up engine so forward/ rewind direct to play with nopause, flutter etc. You will forget you are listening to cassette,very smooth and clear. Plays and records Normal, CrO2 and Metal with Dolby B and Dolby C MPX FIL - The "MPX Filter" (FM Multiplex filter) is the same type of filter and should be used if there is MPX noise when recording FM. It should not be used during playback. I f you have the right equipment, a cassette can sound heavenly! Allhave just had installed new capstan belt, the control belt, anda pair (2 pieces) of the correct idler tires; not the cheapimport idler tires thatare 1-2mm to large and will always rumble. Top quality belts androllers installed. Units have been properly lubricated and also newVU fuse (led) lamps. NOTE:The original low-life VU fuse-lamps have been replaced with speciallifetime 50,000 hour A/C led VUfuse lamps. Thenew fuse lamps also have three layers of 3M glass fiber-optic lightdiffuser. So you do not have that unbearable LED glow on your metersand they are flicker free. The new replacement LED VU lamps are theoriginal color scale; they have not been converted to neon etc. Soyou no longer have to bring your deck in for servicing (yes, factorylamps are soldered in) when the fuselamps go out after only 1000 hrs.These new LED fuselamps last a lifetime, they run cool and take muchless energy. TIP! remember if your rewind stops before completion; reset the counter,rewind. These units have more features than most decks. Asentence or two about each deck. The two units that have theadditional DJ audio jack (additional headphone jack) installedon the back will be mentioned. This was aprofessional installation done either by Tascam or a proelectronics firm. Very clean installation including braided pairsfor no crosstalk etc. Allfour of these units have just had all of the maintenance done - allfour have been thoroughly tested - all four Tascam 112decks are ready for use. NOTE: Phones knob on unit 2 (top right knob) has been bumped and the orange insert is missing, slight deflection on shaft when rotating, very slight. This Tascam knob style is readily available as they were used on many units, cosmetic only; control works perfect. I think the orange colored insert merely snaps in.
